The Holiday Season Has Begun!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving and spent time with loved ones.
I know it gets hectic this time of year but I must confess I actually love it!

I will be posting some new ideas later this week, but I wanted to remind every one that this time of year can also be hard on others ( ones we may not even be aware of)

This year our family has adopted a family to bring some cheer to their holiday season. We decided if we bought one less present for each other we could make several children's christmas dreams come true
After losing my job in June I realized how quickly things could change and while I was one of the lucky ones and found another job , there are many who have not. So while you may not be able to adopt a family for the holidays think of other things that you could do to brighten some else's holiday season....
Send cards to troops over seas ( use some of the retired swaps and make them into cards and send them to the troops) I have alreadly started mine so I could get them in the mail this week .
Drop off a new toy for Toys for Tots, Volunteer at a soup kitchen, Visit a Children's Hospital
These are just a few things that will not only brighten someones Holiday season but
its amazing how great you feel doing it!!
Go Ahead try it and see for your self
I wish you all a joyous
Holiday season!

Check back in a few days for any SU specials and ideas !!
